The Real News Network is a television news and documentary network focused on providing independent and uncompromising journalism. The Real News Network is viewer supported and do not accept advertising, government or corporate funding.
Challenge
- Real News is a non-profit user supported TV network that depends on fresh contact lists to expand its user base
- Needed to repetitively import multiple contact lists, quickly analyze and output as mailing lists
- Current consolidation process with Excel was very time consuming and labor intensive
Solution
- Implemented Informatica Data Loader Service
- Leveraged DLS’ multi-source import capabilities (database, .CSV, etc)
- Used data manipulation features to move various datasets into common format for automated importing

- Now able to consolidate data into common structure without needing intermediate Excel reformat process
