Informatica Cloud Summer 2011

Simplicity: Easy to Use Cloud Services

Every release of Informatica Cloud focuses on making data integration easy to use and easy to consume. Informatica Cloud Summer 2011 introduces:

  • Customizable Views: Define custom queries based on personal preferences and manage multiple cloud data integration tasks, connections and taskflows.
  • Flexible Job Scheduling: Define custom job schedules, such as business hours, to optimize cloud integration performance and job processing.
  • REST API: Programmatically launch pre-defined cloud integration tasks from an external source.

Enterprise Class: Trust and "Cloud Control" For it

Informatica Cloud is now running thousands of jobs and processing millions of transactions a day (visit our Trust site for details). The Summer 2011 release introduces a number of enhancements specifically designed for some of our largest customers:

  • Fine-Grained Access Controls: Admins can establish role and group permissions and profiles.
  • Delegated Administration: Easily provision and manage multiple Informatica Cloud tenants.
  • Two-Factor Authentication: Enable logins only from specific IP address ranges.

Unified Hybrid Deployment: Single Platform for Cloud and On-Premise Integration

Informatica Cloud’s Secure Agent delivers the core performance and scalability of the Informatica Platform the on-demand service. Built, schedule and run jobs in the cloud or on premise with a unified platform.

Informatica Platform: Universal Cloud Integration

In addition to Informatica Cloud, Informatica Platform customers can also take advantage of public or private infrastructure as a service (IaaS) deployment options. Now, Informatica MDM is also available for licensed Informatica MDM customers to run it on Amazon Web Services (EC2 and S3). For Private Cloud implementations, InformaticaPowerCenter is certified to run on VMWare solutions for x86 and x64, Microsoft HyperV and Solaris Containers to allow customers to to deploy using these virtualization technologies.
